How to setup OpenVPN connection on Tomato Router?

1 Access your router web management interface by going to this address "http://192.168.2.1" and from the left side menu, go to "VPN Tunneling" and click on "OpenVPN Client", then configure your router as below:
  • Start with WAN: Check
  • Interface Type: TUN
  • Protocol: UDP or TCP
  • Server IP address/Port: Your server IP
    Note: To see your server IP address, login here with your username and password. In this example we use 84.200.242.4
  • Port: UDP and TCP ports: 443, 1194, 1198, 10090, 10190, 24500, 42320, 62520
  • Firewall: Automatic
  • Authorization mode: TLS
  • Username/Password Authentication: Check
  • Username Authen. Only: Uncheck
  • Extra HMAC Authorisation: Disabled
  • Create NAT on tunnel: Check

2 Now go to the "Advanced", and configure the following settings:
  • Poll interval: 0
  • Redirect traffic: Check
  • Accept DNS configuration: Disabled
  • Encryption cipher: AES-128-CBC
  • Compression: Disabled
  • Firewall: Automatic
  • Authorization mode: TLS
  • TSL Regeneration Time: -1
  • Connection retry: -1
  • Verify server certificate (tls-remote): Uncheck

3 Login to your client area and download OpenVPN files (UDP or TCP).
After you download OpenVPN file (in this example we imagine you use UDP file) open it in Notepad or Notepad++. You will see 3 part as below:

Go to the "Keys", and copy each part to the specific box:

4 In the last go to the "Status" and click on "Start Now"
